It also shows if/how well lighter colors show up on top of darker colors. The point of this test is to see if/how well the different brushes bend together with themselves without the use of an outside tool, such as the blending tool. You can save it to your computer for reference, but PLEASE don’t repost it anywhere.

Also, keep in mind that the brushes may have a slightly different effect if seen from farther away/closer up/with a different sized brush.

If it looks smaller, it’s really just smaller and has nothing to do with my size settings.

I used the same sized brush for everything.

They’re all set to their original settings.

I haven’t messed with any of the tool settings.

The names of the tools are only listed in the blending test, but the other tests have the tools in the same order.

You just gotta mess around with them and see what works.

I used every brush (minus the effects brushes) in each of these circumstances, even if it isn’t logical to.

So if there are any brushes that are in the EX version that aren’t in the normal version, sorry. Not too sure what the differences are because I got the program as a gift and that’s just the version I got. So, just a few things to note before we get started: Just a warning, this is going to be a pretty long post.

And I decided that I would post the results here. I just loaded it up onto my new computer and so I thought I would play with some of the brushes since it had been a month or two since I used the program. Okay, so I’ve had Manga Studio 5 (EX specifically) for almost a year now.
